Your baby´s first journey in life is most probably from the maternity ward to your home. From this time forward there will be many more journeys for you and your baby to make and for these journeys, it is vital that your baby travels in a secure car seat. Emmaljunga has spent several years developing its First Class0+Base, a tough and well designed car seat, which meets the high standards required with regard to safety, choice of materials, comfort, ergonomy, user friendliness and design, which makes the product an outstanding choice.
If you do not want to wake your child after a car journey you can simply remove the car seat from the car and click it on to most of our Emmaljunga chassis (travel system adaptor is required) and you´re ready to go. If you have a busy lifestyle you can save even more time by buying our Isofix Base alongside your Emmaljunga car seat, which can be easily attached in the car. After installing the base you can simply click the car seat into it or remove it with one easy action when taking your child in and out of the car. First Class0+Base is available in sixteen colours.

Optimal lying curve
By adjusting the head protection on the car seat to suit the child´s size, the 5-point harness and the child´s lying curve are also automatically adjusted. Therefore, when the child is small a relatively flat lying curve (bottom position is high up in the seat) can be achieved. As the child grows bigger, the head protection can be moved further up the seat, which automatically lowers the seat under the bottom, thereby decreasing the centre of gravity and increasing safety.
This provides First Class0+Base with an added safety value as it reduces the risk of misuse and the lying curve becomes optimal according to your child´s size.
Travel system for the pram
Babies often fall asleep during car journeys. With our travel system the child can be left sleeping undisturbed in the car seat when it is taken in and out of the car, so that baby can wake naturally, happy and rested! Lift the car seat with the sleeping baby out of the car and click it into place with a Travel System Adaptor on an Emmaljunga chassis.
