Jane Montecarlo Plus Car Seat
The Monte carlo car seat range also includes the brand new Montecarlo Plus car seat. Building on the functionality of the standard Montecarlo (previously known as the Jane Team Plus Car Seat), Plus is equipped with an ISOFIX anchoring system for the base of the seat, which combined with the child retention system, affords the seat greater stability. Montecarlo Plus also features an adjustable back rest that can be altered to provide three different reclining positions.
Due to its ISOFIX connections, the Montecarlo Plus has an additional safety feature over all other traditional Group 2 & 3 car seat. There's no need to strap the seat in when empty, as its always connected by the ISOFIX. Very convenient when dropping your child off at school or the child minders. An empty unrestrained car seat will become a missile inside the car, and could cause fatal injury to other passengers in the event of an accident.
Despite falling within the group 2-3 car seat category, both Montecarlo and Montecarlo Plus are compatible with a special safety system, the XTend, that when installed makes the seat suitable for group 1 classification too (available as an optional extra).
